What does a 1.5 mm finish look like?
The grain is a fine texture. From the street it looks smooth; up close it has a subtle character you would not get from a painted wall.
The photographs alongside are from completed jobs. They show the actual silicone texture, including close-ups of the grain.
Colour and texture both look different over a full elevation than they do on a phone screen or a small colour chart, so we prefer the final choice to be made from an actual sample.
How we choose the colour
- Once the quotation is agreed, the manufacturer’s colour chart is available to review.
- Choose four colours you would like to see properly.
- Mixed samples are produced in those colours.
- We compare the samples at the property before you make the final choice.
Seeing the samples at the home makes it easier to compare them with things that are staying, such as the roof, windows, brickwork, stonework or other finishes around the property.
