Monocouche is generally a thicker, through-coloured mineral render applied as a one-coat decorative system over a suitable prepared substrate. Silicone render is normally a thin decorative finish used as part of a layered system that includes preparation, basecoat and reinforcement where specified.
Why Vale Render focuses on silicone
We prefer the controlled fine texture, broad colour choice and system-led approach of 1.5 mm silicone render. That does not make every alternative inferior; it means Vale Render is positioned as a specialist rather than trying to promote every finish.
Which is right for your home?
The substrate, desired appearance, exposure and existing construction should guide the choice. A site-specific assessment is more useful than selecting purely from photographs online.
